Technical Analysis: EUR/USD
November 04, 2010 - 16:05
Euro managed to break the 1.4160 level and hold onto gains above 1.4100, which made it possible to test the key resistance at 1.4500 over the near-term. Euro managed to break the 1.4160 level and hold onto gains above 1.4100, which made it possible to test the key resistance at 1.4500 over the near-term. The nearest key support now comes in by 1.4000. Should the pair break this level, it will negate our outlook and likely aim EUR/USD towards the next key support at 1.3700.

EUR/USD managed to break the 1.4000 level once again. If the pair sustains above this level, we will be able to see a full retracement back to 1.4160 or reach the ultimate key resistance 1.4500. However, should the pair stall by 1.4160, we could see another shift in a short-term USD bullish bias.
Technical Analysis: EUR/USD

Euro could not close back above the level 1.4000. Thereafter, it’s confined by a very tight range. At present, we see great risks for additional short-term corrective declines towards 1.3500, should the pair break below 1.3700. Meanwhile, a daily close above 1.4000 would give a reason for restoring the bullish outlook.
Technical Analysis: EUR/USD
October 20, 2010 - 12:30
USD accelerated its gains. As a result, EUR/USD dropped below the key support at 1.3775. However, later on Euro recovered lost positions, although, it seems more like a consolidation rather than a real resumption of an uptrend. Therefore, we are still expecting to see a new decline towards the 1.3500 level over the coming sessions. Meanwhile, consolidating beyond the 1.3800 level would likely aim the pair to retest the technical level 1.4000.
